Bias
In Porter v Magill the House of Lords laid down a test for bias which makes reference to the reasonable man. As to what constitutes the reasonable man for the purpose of this test see the judgment of the Court of Appeal in the case of Virdi v The Law Society of England and Wales & Anor [2010] EWCA Civ 100, paras 42 to 44.
